A message from the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences . . .
AbstractAs practitioners, we often become so involved in day-today issues that we forget about why we originally decided to become pharmacists. So, when one encounters the thoughts and enthusiasm of a young nascent pharmacist, it can make one pause and reflect on why one is a pharmacist. This happened to me while chatting to a bright first-year student. She explained to me why she had decided to study pharmacy. It was so refreshing to hear her enthusiasm for pharmacy that I thought that I would share her ideas with you all.
