Abstract

It is estimated that more than 50% of prescribed medicines are dispensed or prescribed inappropriately worldwide, while half of the patients do not take their medication as prescribed.1 Antimicrobial resistance is a global growing crisis, driven by irrational medicine use and inappropriate prescribing.2
