Abstract

No manager would challenge the principle that sustainable success is based on good working relationships. But time pressures are so great that most managers are too busy to apply this principle. There is always something that is more important or more urgent! Consequently little effort is invested in developing relationships with the various stakeholder groups who hold the future of the organisation in their hands.
