Ukhamba lwa Makhambi ka-Nkambule
AbstractUkhamba refers to the clay vessel (pot) traditionally used for drinking Umqombothi (African Traditional beer), mainly in traditional functions. In recent times, however, and in-between these traditional functions, this vessel finds its major use as a safe storage place for various documents like birth certificates, marriage certificates, municipal accounts, even bank cards, etc that will be folded up and stashed into this vessel. It is in both these contexts that this word will be used here. a-Makhambi refers to remedies.
